The 2008 Ride & Stride held on the 13th of September 2008 was a success on many levels. The weather was good and has no doubt aided the superb response from both the participants and their sponsors and donors. Some £32,000 has been raised so far and this money is shared between the Trust and the churches and chapels nominated by the participants.

 

Many of those involved did great work: two Deanery organisers cycled to more than 30 churches and one to more than 40. Cyclists from Bisham, Little Missenden and Hitcham broke the £1,000 mark. All these people help to preserve a cherished part of our heritage so that others may enjoy these historic buildings and grounds in the future.
