A book called 'Buckinghamshire's Favourite Churches' was launched on the 1st of June 2007 in Stowe. Written by a well know historian and fully illustrated in colour it traces the development of religious architecture in the county from Saxon times until the present day. There is also a chapter on non-conformist and Catholic Architecture reflecting the county's long and honourable tradition of dissent from the established church.
